Cheers!

What better way to start the New Year than with start´18? – Let´s celebrate together and toast contemporary sculpture and the New Year. We are curious what 2018 will bring in terms of three-dimensional art.

Sculpture and Architecture

What is three-dimensional art? What is architecture? How are they related? - start'18 emphasizes art and its environment as space creating forces. Let’s explore all the facets of these two fascinating subjects and contemplate what they mean. We are looking forward to exciting discussions.

from the picture to the sculpture

Savoir vivre - something that artist Stefan Szczesny truly understands.  His positive attitude to life is reflected in his art in which his motto is: The more color the better. But how did he manage to be so successful with his artworks? And how did he end up being a host at start'18? We asked him!

Local and global

Join us as we celebrate three-dimensional contemporary art locally and internationally. This is your chance to be active on a local level and to connect to others around the world at the same time. This multicultural exchange widens horizons and let you plunge deeper into the global art world.
